Musician Hosts Robert Carreau and Kate Blain welcome all players and singers of all levels and styles, storytellers and poets - from experienced performers trying out new material or beginners looking for a little stage time in a friendly space among friends. Free parking in Metro Garage, around the corner on Broadway! Sound by Kurt Siegel.

Open Mic Nights are held in the Guild Room on the second floor of Proctors Theatre, overlooking the Main Arcade. Simply take the Main Arcade elevator or stairs to the 2nd floor and turn right - the Guild Room is ahead on your right.

About the Hosts

KATE BLAIN Folksinger-songwriter-guitarist Kate Blain has been part of the Upstate New York music scene for more than two decades. A regular on the area coffeehouse circuit, she has released a solo CD The Good Life, and is the long-time host of open mics at Old Songs, Caffe Lena and Old Songs.

ROBERT CARREAU
Bluegrass, folk and blues lover, mandolin & guitar player Robert Carreau debuted as an Open Mic host in 2017. With his duo Sympathetic Stranger he performs contemporary and traditional bluegrass, writes songs, performs at regional farmer’s markets and small venues.
